More and more tech companies are vying to gain ground in India with their budget smartphones. Samsung has brought its Z1 smartphone there. Xiaomi, unquestionably, considers the country as its second home turf. This time around, it's Motorola that's taking a shot at sweeping India denizens off their feet. Its latest edition of the Moto E might be the one to give its contenders a run for the money.

The 2015 Moto E will be exclusively acquirable through Flipkart, which will put the device on sale on March 10. The company will be selling the 3G model for Rs. 6,999, notably leaving the price untouched (it offered the 2014 model of the handset at the same value). The Moto E Second Gen also has an LTE version, which will be priced relatively higher.

The anatomy of the phone is the department Motorola focused on altering. Simply put, the company is offering a same-priced device with a bumped up package. From 4.3 inches, the screen now measures 4.5 inches. It kept the 690 x 540 pixel resolution though.

Under the hood of its 3G variant sits a 32-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor set at 1.2 GHz to which it owes its power and performance. This is propped up with a 400 MHz Adreno 302 GPU. The LTE version sports a finer 64-bit 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and a 400 MHz Adreno 306 GPU. Both have expandable 8 GB storage capacity to offer, and their 1 GB RAM is sure to be to users' liking. They have Android Lollipop straight out of the box, too.

Moto E 2015 holds a 5-megapixel rear-facing shooter but it has no LED flash. This is paired by a VGA camera. The dual speakers at the front sounds like much of a great perk, too. To finish, there is a major upgrade to its battery. Longer usage time is possible with its amped up 2,390 mAh unit. The 2014 Moto E had a 1,980 mAh for its juice.

Before the Moto E 2015 crashes to Flipkart on Tuesday, users can make up their mind which color to get. The handset's solid build was dipped in Golden Yellow, Red, Purple, Blue, Turquoise and Raspberry.
