"Mount & Blade," the action role-playing game from Microsoft, will reportedly release its next offering, "Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord" for other game consoles soon. The game originally debuted in 2008 and was exclusive for the PC only.

This time however, it looks like TaleWorlds will be releasing a new version which can be possibly played on the Xbox and PS4. This was revealed by Reddit user RamzalsCool, who spotted some Xbox Ones and PS4s at one of the rooms of the TaleWorlds Entertainment office.

A full transcript of an interview with Co-Founder and Lead Designer of TaleWorlds Entertainment, Armagan Yavuz was first reported through Turuncu Levye, a Turkish website. A video clip of the interview can also be found there.

With this announcement, expectations for "Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord" are bound to be raised a notch. Better gameplay and graphics are among the things to expect considering that the Xbox and PS4 are highly capable for rendering higher resolution graphics.

"Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord" will reportedly be set 200 years before the events of "Mount & Blade: Warland," which may date back to the Roman Empire era and possibly other medieval reigns. Armor and weapons are said to be tailored from 600 to 1200 AD.

Aside from that, nothing more was revealed so it would be best to keep tabs on further leaks and/or rumors tied up with the medieval time-based game.
