USA Network announced that it has postponed the finale episode of "Mr. Robot" season 1 because it contains scenes that resemble Virginia shooting on Wednesday, which involved two journalists.

The episode was originally slated for a Wednesday night airing, but the network decided to move it to next week, on Sept. 2, at the same 10 p.m. time slot.

Based on the Facebook statement from the network, there are no further details as to which part in the finale episode drove the network to make the decision, but The Hollywood Reporter mentioned that the episode will feature someone who gets shot and killed while doing a TV interview.

Wednesday's shooting claimed the lives of 24-year-old TV journalist Alison Parker and her 27-year-old cameraman Adam Ward, while they were broadcasting for WDBJ-TV Roanoke, Virginia.

Footage of the shooting made the rounds on social media and a video recorded by the gunman himself was also uploaded on his Facebook account.

Meanwhile, "Mr. Robot" is a story about a young programming expert who has a job at a cybersecurity firm, but is secretly moonlighting as a hacker who works together with a group that does online attacks against large companies.

Apart from having a hint on what the finale will feature, Fashion n Style put together some of the things that viewers can expect from the show.

According to the report, the finale could show the fall of Evil Corp since there's disorder in New York City streets, based on promo images.

The previous episode also showed Tyrell (Martin Wallström) being fired from Evil Corp and the ending revealed him showing up over Elliot's (Rami Malek) apartment, expressing his desire in joining fsociety. The finale could feature him joining the other side.

"Mr. Robot" has been received well during its pilot premiere last May 27, reported Cinema Blend; and because the show has made great impressions, it got renewed for another season even way ahead of the premiere.

Season 2 of "Mr. Robot" will return by 2016, according to reports.
