Mr. Robot" will be broadcasting its second season on the USA Network but across the sea in the U.K., it will be distributed solely by Amazon U.K., which, according to a report from CNET, now has acquired the sole distribution rights for the series in that region.

What this leads to is that every episode of "Mr. Robot" season 2 will become available for streaming on Amazon U.K. just a few hours after they've been broadcast in the U.S. The report states that each episode will be available for free for Amazon Prime subscribers and can be purchased by regular Amazon U.K. consumers.

All 10 episodes of the first season are already available for Amazon U.K. subscribers and it will follow the aforementioned streaming system where non-Prime members can purchase to stream while Prime members who pay a monthly subscription fee can stream the episodes entirely for free.

"Mr. Robot" season 1 has proven to be one of the most critically acclaimed series to date, with a 98 percent critic rating and a 94 percent audience rating on RottenTomatoes, making it one of the most successful U.S. original drama series in recent years.

Ever since the series was green lit for a second season several months back, very little news and updates have been released. However, as stated in a report from CrossMap, the cast did explain during the New York Comic-Con that the series would turn for a much darker tone in season 2.

The first season ended on a cliffhanger so it is likely that the second season will address the loose plot thread from the season 1 finale. At least viewers from the U.K. won't have to wait that much longer to be able to watch the episodes now that they will be available just a few hours after their U.S. release.

"Mr. Robot" is currently scheduled to premiere sometime in 2016, although no specific release window has yet been announced.
