Now that "Mr. Robot" has just concluded, fans and viewers will be glad to know that the heady drama will be returning for a fourth season next year.

The show's creator Sam Esmail announced on his social media that the program will be coming back next year. "Calm down everyone. #MrRobot season_4.0 writers' room is officially open for business," he said in the post with an accompanying picture. Esmail appeared relaxed and seated with his writers all around him. Fans can look forward to more mental escapades involving Elliot Alderson (Rami Malek), his sister Darlene (Carly Chaikin), and the rest of their colleagues in next year's installment.

In the season 3 finale, Elliot was captured by Whiterose's (BD Wong) point man Irving (Bobby Cannavale). He was brought to a remote farm in the countryside where his sister was also being kept. They were taken there to be killed because Elliot knew too much about the Dark Army's computer system. However, when Grant (Grant Chang) was about to shoot Elliot in the head, Leon (Joey Bada$$) shot all of his henchmen, leaving only him standing. It turned out that Whiterose wanted to get rid of Grant and keep Elliot and his sister alive because they could become great assets in her empire.

In a recent interview with Variety, Esmail shared his thoughts about this season and the upcoming one. "We've explored these different stages of Elliot and Robot and his internal struggle. Now we're getting into that stage that this season's about: disintegration. Next season, we'll then start to explore what happens when they do start to integrate." It is hinted that the fourth installment will pick up where the finale left off, and it will be something fans would not want to miss.

"Mr. Robot" season 4 is expected to return sometime in 2018. Stay tuned for more updates as the situation unfolds.
