A break from social media can work wonders for a person, and apparently it worked for reality star Steven Assanti. The "My 600-lb Life" star recently went on a social media hiatus for a few weeks, deactivating his Facebook page without any word to his fans and followers. Over the weekend, Assanti reactivated his page again, and it appears that he has changed.

Assanti's first few uploads were comprised of photos that featured rather downcast quotes. One of which seemed to suggest that he is at the point in his life where he feels burned out. "Emotionally, I'm done. Mentally, I'm drained. Spiritually, I feel dead. Physically, I smile," read the post that has since been deleted.

However, before the post was deleted, Assanti received a lot of encouraging messages from fans and followers. Many of his followers wrote that he is not alone, some even suggested that he get out and travel, while there were others that advised that Assanti attend a church service. The reality star has only been updating his Facebook page with similar quotes since ending his social media hiatus. He has not revealed anything about what happened over the month that led to his break from social media.

Before Assanti decided to deactivate from Facebook last month, it seemed that he was uploading a lot of posts which shocked his fans and followers. The posts were almost always taken down hours after he uploaded it, and Assanti even went to making snide comments towards his brother Justin. Justin, in particular, rolled his eyes at one of Steven's posts about not letting bullies walk all over their lives.

From the comments on the status update, it seems that most of the people who were commenting were his fans who wished him well. There are several other commenters, on the other hand, who called him out for how he treated Justin and pointed out the irony of the status.
