Prepare to see Pablo Escobar's doom when the second season of "Narcos" begins on Netflix in September.

The online streaming service provider dropped the first teaser for the highly anticipated season 2 of the biographical drama series, which features the life of the Medellin drug cartel leader and the richest criminal in history.

Three important dates were mentioned in the 28-second trailer. The first one was Escobar's birth date on December 1, 1949, while the second one marked his death on December 2, 1993. The third one, which said "09.02.16," is the release date for the show's premiere episode in season 2.

The upcoming season will center on Escobar's attempts to evade the police who were tasked to recapture the criminal after escaping from La Catedral prison. His fugitive days did not last long since the Colombian authorities shot him to death on a rooftop 15 months after he escaped his prison cell.

Meanwhile, musical scorer Pedro Bromfman told iDigitalTimes how he stepped up to the challenges of composing the original sounds for the series to make is more realistic.

"We tried to stay away from the electronics as much as possible, and the 80s and synthesizers, and really stayed with the organic sounding. So real instruments and real sounds that are brought into the computer, and then played around with or manipulated," the music composer said. "We tried to play it as real as possible. Of course, for entertainment and everything, you have to relate to the character, so when he's with his family we play the music more emotional — like when his family is going away, or when he has stay away from the country he loves. He's sort of our hero, but our anti-hero at the same time."

Netflix is expected to reveal more information about "Narcos" season 2 in the coming days.
