'Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage' final chapter recap: Sarada discovers her strength, true family, new dream

Sarada as she appears in Boruto: Naruto the MovieShonen Jump

The Naruto manga spinoff "Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage" has come to an end with the next chapter of the story to be told in "Boruto: The Naruto Movie," which puts the spotlight on the self-confident son of the heroic Naruto and Sasuke's kid Sarada. [Spoiler Alert!]

In "What Appears In Those Eyes (710)," Sarada finally gets a grip of her enormous strength, which sent the Shin clones flying and in pain. This impressive showing ultimately filled Sakura with pride and tells Sarada that they share the same blood and that she is without doubt, her daughter.

As for the Shin clones, Naruto managed to badly terrify one with Karuma's appearance. It trembled in fear before they are all captured and sent to an orphanage that ended up being managed by Kabuto, who, thanks to Itachi's Izanami, is now responsible enough to train them and teach them discipline.

For once, the "Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage" showed the Uchihas what they are meant to be—a family. They ate together and spent time with each other. But this is cut short since Sasuke had to leave, which made Sarada sad. Before he left, he poked his daughter's forehead the way Itachi did.

"What Appears In Those Eyes (710)" ended with Sarada and Boruto in school with the latter thanking her for bringing his dad lunch. Finally, Sarada revealed that she wants to be a Hokage someday, something that Boruto dismissed as ridiculous.

As the manga spinoff wrapped up, Sarada developed a dream as she donned a new pair of red eyeglasses (she got from Suigetsu as an apology for telling her a misleading family background) and a smile at a photo of her happy family.

"Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage" may have ended but Sarada and Boruto are jumping to the big screen with new adventures. Follow the youngsters' tales in "Boruto: The Naruto Movie," which is out August 7.
