'Naruto' MMORPG release date: Game will get Western release this month

Oasis Games

The Chinese MMORPG "Naruto Online" will be available for the PC on July 20 for Western countries.

According to Game Rant, this game based on the "Naruto" anime and manga has already been in China for approximately three years. Now, Oasis Games will release this game without making fans wait excruciatingly.

It's also confirmed that like other anime-based games, "Naruto Online" will closely follow the source material, much to the fans' delight. This game will play out all of the major storylines in the "Naruto" anime, even going so far as to get the anime's voice actors to reprise their respective characters. However, it's still unclear whether or not this game will also cover the events of "Boruto: Naruto the Movie." Also, some of the anime's iconic locations, such as the Valley of the End, are available for exploration, which certainly gives more hype to the game.

According to Game Spot, players will be able to play the role of one of the five new characters in the story, with each one representing a different play style. Additionally, each character will have control over one of the following elements: fire, water, wind, earth, or lightning. In a sense, the combat system for this game will be different compared to the "Ultimate Ninja" games in a sense that instead of real-time fights, combat will be turn-based.

Another exciting feature for the game is that players can recruit characters from the "Naruto" series to fight alongside them. The Naruto Bonds-system also allows the player's team of ninjas to be matched with one another in order to drastically boost team performance and enable devastating combos.

Finally, there will be dungeons available for both lone players and parties of players. World boss battles will also be featured, which appears to be epic in terms of in-game proportions.
