"Naruto Shippuden" has recently been focusing on the story of Kaguya, the source of all chakra in the series, and the tale of her sons Hagoromo and Hamura. This was later interrupted by a fight between Kaguya and both Naruto and Sasuke. According to a report from Ecumenical News, episode 465 will take a break from the fight to continue telling the origin stories.

After Hagoromo and Hamura sealed their mother Kaguya in the moon, it was their responsibility to spread chakra to the world and episode 464 focused on the birth of the religion of Ninshu. However, episode 465 will focus on the story of Hagoromo's children, Ashura and Indra.

It is noted that Hagoromo eventually chose Indra to be his true successor and this decision might not have sat well with Ashura, leading to the bitterness between the two, who would become rivals over the years. It is also stated that these legendary shinobi are the ancestors of the Senju and Uchiha clans.

Neither Ashura nor Indra have made an actual appearance on the show thus far. They have both been mentioned from time to time but have never been shown. With their origin stories set to be revealed in episode 465 it is possible that they will make their official debut in the following episode, 466.

According to a report from Yibada, Ashura inherited his father's legacy and philosophy to keep the world at peace and how this conflicts with what was passed down to Indra has yet to be seen. It is speculated by fans that episode 465 and 466 will see the brothers meet again and continue their battle just as Naruto and Sasuke continue to fight Kaguya.

However, the battle with Kaguya has seen some complications. She has banished the ninja to different parts of the world and she banished Sasuke to a different dimension. As Hagoromo continues his story of the origins of the ninja and chakra the episodses may also reveal how Sasuke and Naruto get back to the fight with Kaguya.

"Naruto Shippuden" episode 465 airs on June 16.
