Shonen Jump Magazine recently revealed the newest addition to the growing roster of combatants in "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4." Rikudo Madara is officially a playable character in the much-awaited video game.

Commonly known as Six Paths Madara, the character will also be one of the game's boss fighters that gamers, playing as either Naruto or Sasuke, will have to battle. The fighter looks ominous in a new image and in a screenshot, letting players have a glimpse of him in action.

Being the latest iteration and the final installment in the well-loved long-running franchise, "Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will offer the biggest and undoubtedly the baddest character line-up (amounting to more than 100) in the history of the series.

The game will be grounded upon the Fourth Shinobi War and will, needless to say, feature characters who took part in the iconic event. Players and seasoned Naruto fans will also see characters from both the manga and "The Last: Naruto The Movie."

While Naruto and Sasuke remain as imperative characters in the game, the spotlight is on Hanabi Hyuga, who last appeared in the PS2 game from the franchise "Ninja Accel 2." Her appearance in the film and her strong personality turned Bandai Namco's and CyberConnect's heads to her.

The collaborators tout that the Ultimate Jitsu system is one of the many features of the game. Gamers would also love the newly integrated Leader Change System, which allows players to swap characters during battle.

It is estimated that "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will have a fall release, but CyberConnect 2 and Bandai Namco have yet to reveal the official date.  A retailer based in the U.K. called GAME lists the game's rollout date as September but with no specific date. Other retailers such as Amazon states a Dec. 31, 2015 release date for the game, which is simply a placeholder.
