Anticipated as the last installment in the "Naruto" game series, the upcoming "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" title has already gotten rumor mills churning and there have already been a lot of speculations regarding its release, one of which is its possible September rollout.

Vendors such as Amazon and Best Buy only have the generic Dec. 31 launch date on their respective lists, leaving no clue for fans, but it seems that another retail store had inadvertently listed the title's specific launch date on its website. According to the listing made by U.K. retail site game.co.uk, the upcoming title will come out in September this year. It is unclear, though, whether the retail store just happens to have a generic launch date of September for its upcoming games list, or the item itself has not yet been updated.

However, some fans of the series note with interest that a September release might not be far off the mark for the latest in the fighting game franchise. Although there is no specific day mentioned, the anticipated month coincides with previous releases for the other "Ultimate Storm" titles, like the most-recent "Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution." It also follows the descending trend for series release, with the first "Ultimate Ninja Storm" being launched in November 2008, and "Ultimate Ninja Storm 2" in October 2010.

According to recent reports and teasers, the latest "Ultimate Ninja Storm" will feature a new battle system, in addition to the Ultimate Jutsu moves that are unique to each character and also dependent on their current health and chakra. The game will also feature a return of the wall climbing system featured in the first "Ultimate Ninja Storm" title.

Being the last in the series, "Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will also be packed with more characters from the "Naruto" universe including the Ten-Tails, Uchiha Obito, and Hyuga Hanabi. Villains such as Zetsu Obito and Jinchuriki Madara will also make an appearance.
