"Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" is getting a big update in the form of brand new exciting content called "Road to Boruto." This will be the fourth content pack for the hit fighting game.

This was revealed in an announcement for the upcoming issue of the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. More details about the downloadable content or DLC will be revealed this week.

What is known at the moment is that the "Road to Boruto" expansion for "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will be released in a physical copy as well as a DLC update. As the name suggests, "Road to Boruto" will feature Naruto's son and his story as told in the manga. Boruto came as a pre-order bonus in the hit fighting game along with his good friend Sarada, the daughter of Sasuke.

It is unknown if the DLC will introduce new characters in "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4." Specifics of the story are difficult to come by at the moment.

Interestingly, only the PlayStation 4 is listed for the DLC despite the fact that the fighting game has been released to the Xbox One and PC version as well. It is unclear if the other platforms won't receive the update.

Meanwhile, Anime News Network reports that the first-print physical version of the DLC will come with the "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" soundtrack as well as the one on the update, all packaged in a reversible box cover.

Boruto appeared in the "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" as well. The Sasuke vs. Kinshiki battle scene from the film will be demoed in the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2016 to be held from Sept. 15 to 18.

Those who attend will get to experience it way early before everyone else as the "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" DLC won't be available until Feb. 2, 2017. It will be priced around $66.

New details about "Road to Boruto" are expected to be revealed at TGS as well.
