Bandai Namco has been slowly teasing fans regarding the details of the latest and final downloadable content (DLC) expansion pack titled "Road to Boruto" for their highly popular fighting video game, "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4." Now, the company has released a brand new trailer showcasing the different features and storylines that will be added to the game, along with the revelation that they are finally going to be retiring the series with the DLC's epic conclusion.

The trailer itself opens with the different scenes and events that have transpired since the start of the franchise. It then proceeds to show Naruto and his son Boruto in a practice match with a line that reads "Surpass the Father."

The DLC itself will, of course, feature numerous elements, such as the practice match, that were featured in the "Boruto: Naruto the Movie." Several of the characters in the movie — including Boruto Uzumaki and Sarada Uchiha — will be featured as playable characters.

The clip also shows how players will be able to fully explore the ins and outs of the Hidden Leaf village. According to reports, several stories will also be explored in the new era where Naruto is already Hokage of the village. The stories will apparently include the events in the lives of Shikamaru and of the fourth Great Shinobi war.

Reports have also revealed that "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate: Ninja Storm 4 - Road to Boruto" will be the epic conclusion to the entire series, and that it will be marking the end of the franchise itself. According to Polygon, Bandai revealed that they had developed the "Naruto Shippuden" series for 15 years since the first game and now they have "poured all their efforts" into the last title in the series.

"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate: Ninja Storm 4 - Road to Boruto" is set to be released in February 2017 and will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
