While the official release date for the upcoming and final chapter in the "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm" franchise is still a month or so away, hardcore fans can't wait to see and experience the new fighting title. Publisher Bandai Namco seems to know the demand and, as a treat to fans, will be releasing a playable demo of the upcoming "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" today.

According to the announcement on the Bandai Namco website, the playable demo will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, since the version is only a sneak peek at how the title will finally arrive early next year, it will only feature a single player mission. Nevertheless, fans will experience one of the most pivotal points of history in the "Naruto" world, as the playable demo will feature the colossal, Hokage-level fight between Madara and Hashirama.

For those new in the series, "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" is the last and final chapter in the franchise, covering the Fourth Ninja War arc in the original manga adaptation. The arc featured the fight between series antagonist Uchiha Madara and Hashirama Senju, chief of the Senju clan and later ascending into the title of the First Hokage of the Leaf Village.

However, although it is expected that the playable demo will feature the destructible environments that are a highlight of the upcoming title, it is unclear whether the characters themselves will have their full arsenal of moves and skills or, much like the restricted game mode, will also be limited.

Aside from a playable demo, European fans of the franchise will have the chance to get another additional treat in the form of collectible Naruto and Sasuke figurines. According to Anime News Network, the figures are available for pre-orders of "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4."

However, the figurines themselves are considered limited-edition collectibles as only 500 pieces were reportedly made.

"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will roll out for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC in February next year.
