No specific date for the release of "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" has been announced just yet, but the game studio has confirmed that it will be available within the year. This was confirmed by Hiroshi Matsuyama, president of developer CyberConnect 2, via Twitter.

"You can experience the demo over the weekend at Jump Festa 2015, so by all means, please try it out! Can you wait for this amazing experience?" he said.

The official Facebook page for the game also confirms that the title will be released in 2015, and will be available for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC via Steam. Matsuyama mentioned in another tweet that he developed the title specifically for next-generation consoles.

According to the game's Facebook page, "Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will primarily cover the Fourth Shinobi World War, the final arc in the original manga series, as well as the events in "The Last: Naruto the Movie." This would make "Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" the final game entry in the series.

Multiple versions of some characters will also be available, such as the older version of Sakura from "The Last: Naruto the Movie" as well as several characters involved in the Hajirama and Madara battle. It will feature several innovations from previous titles, such as the ability to wall-run, a feature in the first game but then discarded in the sequels. More emphasis on storylines, re-tweaked fighting mechanics, and the largest roster of characters are but some of the innovations brought to the table.

According to a translation of Vjump Magazine, cited by Latino Post, the game will also feature a form of "wire-fu" game play which refers to the acrobatic stunt-work used in films like "The Matrix" and "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon."
