'Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4' release date in US this year

 Bandai Namco Europe

After the game "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" was confirmed for an autumn release in Japan, many fans were wondering and asking when the game will ship to the global gaming community. It was confirmed then that even without a specific release date, the title will come to the West at the same time.

The news was accompanied by a new trailer showing off a visual smorgasbord of stunning display and brightly colored explosions. The video highlights one of the key battles in the story as Team 7 — composed of Uzumaki Naruto, Uchiha Sasuke, and Haruno Sakura, accompanied by their giant summons — battles the Ten Tails in its monster form.

Touted to be the last in the "Ultimate Ninja Storm" series in the "Naruto" gaming franchise, the game will closely reflect the remaining chapters of the original "Naruto" manga, and will follow the Fourth World Ninja War. In the plot, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura, together with their comrades, battle Uchiha Obito and Uchiha Madara to bring peace to the five ninja villages.

The new game will feature the same Wall-Run system present in previous "Ultimate Ninja Storm" titles, as with Ultimate Jutsu, Awakening, and Drive battle type systems. Moreover, the new game will have additional features in the gameplay in the form of new jutsus, and the addition of the Change Leader system.

New jutsus for the game include the Hyuga's combination Ultimate Jutsu, featuring Neji, Hinata, and Hanabi combining for the move. The trio will also appear as playable characters. The Hyuga clan's head, Hiashi, is also available, although he will only appear in the combination Ultimate Jutsu.

Meanwhile, in the new system, players can swap and control their support characters even in the middle of a battle.

"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will be released for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
