Being already a huge part of the Japanese pop culture, it was no wonder that the upcoming game title under the "Naruto" franchise made an appearance at this year's Tokyo Game Show.

At the event, fans were treated to new "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" information, such as new game footages. A new trailer was showcased featuring the next generation of Konoha ninjas, focusing on Boruto, Naruto's son; and Sarada, Sasuke's daughter. The new trailer as well as the game screenshots that were also showcased seem to indicate the new generation showing a promise of eclipsing the old one. Some of the images show Boruto throwing a Rasengan projectile (which his father couldn't do) and Sarada using a hybrid Rasengan-Chidori attack.

Action-packed and full of gameplay footages, the new trailer also includes Kakashi as the sixth Hokage, as well as Sakura, Sasuke, Naruto, and Hinata in their adult forms.

Meanwhile, aside from the appearance of "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" at this year's TGS convention, reports also surfaced of developer CyberConnect2's Hiroshi Matsuyama explaining the delay in the title's release.

"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" was originally scheduled for release in fall this year. However, last month, developer CyberConnect2 announced that the title's release will be pushed back to February of next year instead.

In an interview with industry observer IGN, Matsuyama said that the delay was a decision made to polish the game even more. Aside from adding a new gameplay mode exclusive to the "Ultimate Storm 4" title and polishing cut scenes, the delay is also to make sure that the game will have "more volume" when it is launched next year. Fans can expect more refined animations for characters, skills, and fight moves, as well as more enhanced boss battles.

Fans can expect more details to surface, as Matsuyama also mentioned that "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will also make an appearance at the New York Comic Con next month.
