For some time now, Brook Lopez has been in the middle of trade talk in the NBA and a lot of teams have shown interest. Apparently teams in dire need of talent especially in the center position know how Lopez could fit in despite his bout with various injuries.

Add to the fact that the Nets are currently shopping their top players. Aside from Lopez, They are also trying to shop Deron Williams and Joe Johnson to interested parties. But the hot commodity it seems right now is Lopez who has gained interest from teams like the Houston Rockets and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Finally coming to their senses, the Nets have allegedly pulled out Lopez from the trading block, especially with the phenomenal showing that Lopez has been showing as of late. But then again, with a team in turmoil and a current record of 18-28, ruling out a trade for potential players that could help the Nets' cause could still happen. Either that or the Nets could clear up some cap space for potential free agents come the off season.

And Denver is pulling out all the stops to try and land Lopez, offering J.J. Hickson and Javale McGee. The Nets have however stood firm that they are keeping Lopez, seeing that the deal lacks something that could dramatically entice them to trade away their starting center.

McGee and Hickson are reserve players over in Denver and if the Nuggets really want Lopez, they may have to add more perks for the Nets to bite.

Aside from the Nuggets, other teams are expected to try and pitch in a deal for Brook Lopez. With NBA trade deadline fast approaching (February 19, 2015), most teams in need of player changes are bound to be scrambling to make last-minute deals – Denver and Brooklyn included.
