Where could Javale McGee end up?

After being waived by the Philadelphia 76ers last February 19, multiple teams have reportedly expressed interest in the services of the 7-footer.

Among the teams interested in his services include the Miami Heat, Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Clippers and the Houston Rockets who are adding to add more size up front to prepare for the NBA playoffs.

McGee ended up with the Sixers after being part of a trade with the Denver Nuggets. The Sixers waived McGee Sunday but could end up with a new team once he clears waivers this Wednesday.

The Sixers were able to dodge McGee's contract which had about $3 million left from his $11.25 million salary for the year. He is owed $12 million more next season.

McGee was best known as part of the Washington Wizards. The Wizards drafted McGee 18th overall in the 2008 NBA draft.

McGee could be a great catch for any of the said teams who were interested in signing the 7-foot center. The Heat have of course struggle and filling up the middle with McGee could be a big relief.

The Clippers and the Bulls could use McGee as a chief backup for their respective centers heading into the playoffs as well.

However there is one team which could be interesting to McGee, that of which are the Golden State Warriors.

The Warriors do have Andrew Bogut, David Lee and Festus Ezeli but their durability is put in questions.

Especially for Bogut and Lee who have been frequently in sick bay, McGee could be a good addition to make sure that their frontline doesn't lose muscle inside the paint.

Wherever he is headed should be known by the week after he formally clears waivers.
