The newest update for "NBA 2K16" has just been released, and along with it are notable tweaks being made to some of the big-name ballers inside the game.

Starting off with the players who have received a ratings increase, thanks to the latest update, among the biggest gainers is Portland Trailblazers shooting guard C.J. McCollum who saw his overall mark go four points up to 78, according to Design and Trend.

A pair of Detroit Pistons players also got a noticeable bump in the latest update. Detroit Pistons guard Reggie Jackson saw his rating go all the way up to 81, while his teammate, Andre Drummond, saw his mark go up to 86 due in large part to the hot start that he has enjoyed on the boards.

Indiana Pacers forward Paul George and Phoenix Suns guard Eric Bledsoe also had two points apiece added to their overall ratings as acknowledgement of their great starts in the 2015–16 NBA season.

While some players were trending up, others went down, with Ty Lawson of the Houston Rockets suffering the biggest reduction in rating, going down four points to 77.

Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers, who has gotten off to a rough start this season, also took a big hit, as his rating took a three-point tumble down to 80.

Even the ageless Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs had his rating lowered due to what has been an uneven start.

Aside from a new update, there are also new locker codes that are now available for "NBA 2K16," according to the Australian Network News.

Players can now use the FZV7P-FQ9SU-SRNZZ-9AB27-9ZUUT code to unlock Michael Jordan, as well as the ZG9QQ-VYAVK-I2ZUD-TU2VL-ZFYLQ sequence for none other than the legendary Larry Bird.

Other retired players who can be unlocked using locker codes include Karl Malone, Shaquille O'Neal and Isiah Thomas.
