'NBA 2K16' character roster: Ratings for notable rookies in the game revealed

Rookies are always among the most eagerly awaited additions to any new "NBA 2K" and this year's crop has a bunch of hopefuls that players should take note of.

So far, the ratings for four of the rookies in the game have been revealed, with more expected to come out soon, according to Bleacher Report.

First up is Detroit Pistons' pick Stanley Johnson. Among those revealed, 19-year-old Johnson so far obtained the highest rating at 73. Johnson was also the eighth pick in this year's draft; the seven other players taken ahead of him have not been revealed yet, meaning he's a long shot to end up with the most favorable rating.

Johnson shares the highest rating so far revealed for rookie with Indiana Pacers big man Myles Turner, who also got 73. Turner, also 19 years old, was the 11th overall pick in this year's NBA Draft.

Following Turner is Phoenix Suns' Devin Booker. Booker was the 13th overall pick among this year's selections and has been given a 72 rating in "NBA 2K16." Booker is currently 18 years old, although he will turn 19 right around the start of the regular season.

Last up is Cameron Payne, the 14th overall pick and one of the newest members of the Oklahoma City Thunder. Payne is the oldest of the bunch at 21 and also has a rating of 72.

In related news, the full list of newly added classic NBA teams included in "NBA 2K16" has also been revealed, according to Attack of the Fanboy.

The complete list now includes the 2012–13 Miami Heat, the 2007–08 Boston Celtics, the 2007–08 Houston Rockets, the 2006–07 Cleveland Cavaliers, the 2005–06 Miami Heat, the 2004–05 Phoenix Suns, the 2003–04 Detroit Pistons, the 2003–04 Minnesota Timberwolves, the 2002–03 Dallas Mavericks, the 2000–01 Los Angeles Lakers, the 1999–2000 Portland Trailblazers, and the 1999–2000 Toronto Raptors.

Those new classic teams will be added to the ones already included in earlier titles from the "NBA 2K" franchise.
