'NBA 2K17' April roster update: 2K updates players' stats; posts top 10 overall players

2K Sports recently updated the roster of its hit basketball simulation game "NBA 2K17." The players' stats and attributes have been updated. In turn, a new lineup for the Top Overall players has been posted as well.

After the update, LeBron James still managed to stay on top, with an overall rating of 97. James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, and Russell Westbrook follow with a rating of 96. The well-loved Golden State superstars Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant nab the next spot with a 95-point rating. Anthony Davis then follows with a 94 overall rating. Meanwhile, Chris Paul, Paul George, and DeMarcus Cousins secure the last spot with a 91-point rating.

Given James' impressive rating, it does not come as a surprise that he tops the small forward Top 10 list. Aside from James, the top 10 best players also secured top spots for their positions. Harden's 96 overall rating made him the top shooting guard for "NBA 2K17." Westbrook's one-point increase has not only managed to secure him a spot in the "NBA 2K17" Top 10 but he also landed the top spot in "NBA 2K17's" Top 10 point guards roster. Davis' rather impressive rating also managed to get him on the top of the list of power forwards.

The game features two new cards, Suns' Kevin Johnson and Hawks' Dennis Schroder. In addition, new dynamic duos have been set up. A few pairs include Davis and Cousins, Carmelo Anthony with Dwayne Wade, and Dennis Rodman with Andre Drummond.

To note, the "NBA 2K17" update does not entirely reflect the real NBA playing field, but it has been modified to reflect the actual players.

In addition to the April roster, "NBA 2K17" players who happen to be Twitch Prime members will be able to enjoy in-game loot. This feature went live last Tuesday, April 25.

More updates should arrive in the weeks to come.
