With its upcoming release this week, fresh details about "NBA 2K17" emerged, including franchise signature locker codes and game achievements.

It is already confirmed that, as with previous franchise installments, "NBA 2K17" will also come with regular locker codes that players can use to get bonus in-game items. For the upcoming game, however, it is said that 2K Games will be stricter in giving out different locker codes. For the new game, the most recent codes that players can use are the pre-order codes — which unlock tiered items that come with pre-purchases — and Ruffles locker codes — which players can get from buying two bags of Ruffles chips and a copy of "NBA 2K17" from Sept. 10 to Oct. 2. These codes will supposedly unlock two Jump Packs of Park cards as well as add bonus 5,000 VC to player accounts in the game.

Meanwhile, players will need to stay tuned to different NBA-themed sites and social media accounts to get some time-exclusive redeeming codes.

Prior to announced redeeming codes, however, industry followers have also managed to come out with a list of game achievements in time for "NBA 2K17" release this week. These different stats accomplishments will give bonus items, like gamer scores, for players. For example, choosing a collegiate team and playing for that team for the first time will give out 50 GS each, while the maximum 200 GS can be awarded for players to go on a global stage as part of Team USA.

The different college teams can be downloaded on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Marketplace. There are 10 college program teams in all, and these are the same teams that came with the early access demo for "The Prelude" edition of the game.

"NBA 2K17" is scheduled to launch this week for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, as well as for the PC.
