The latest hoops installment, "NBA 2K17," has just been released. The new game comes out with a number of improvements, including the constantly-updated "MyPark" feature. Speculations suggest that the new feature will be expanded soon.

The new "MyPark" feature in "NBA 2K17" has been improved with new events. However, it seems that the feature will receive further expansion in upcoming updates. According to Morning News USA, one upcoming event that will go live with the mode is "MyPark After Dark." Reportedly, the new expansion mode will enable players to mingle with each other, with the park serving as an online hub complete with a party DJ, special effects, and a crowd. As a feature event, "MyPark After Dark" will also include a number of player contests like dunk competitions and three-point shootouts.

Currently, the "MyPark" feature lists five events for players. The confirmed events are the "Mountain Dew 3x Tournament", "Ante-Up," "House Rules;" "Rival Day," and "Double Rep Weekends." The "MyPark" feature itself is one of the game modes in the "NBA 2K" franchise, with players getting to match up with their online friends or with other players.

Meanwhile, although the feature is a signature mode even with previous "NBA 2K" titles, the current mode has new and improved features. Notably, the "MyPark" feature in "NBA 2K17" lists the return of Park cards. "MyPark" online producer Shane Coffin wrote on the "NBA 2K17" blog: "This year we have revamped park cards, making them easier to use. The biggest change is that users who are good teammates can earn the ability to use more than one card per game. We are also giving the user more customization when determining what cards they want to equip."

Aside from Park cards, new changes to the "MyPark" feature include Park badges and more custom options for the "MyPlayer" superstar when playing in a "MyPark" event.
