Fans can expect several things in the upcoming basketball simulation video game, "NBA 2K17," which include Kanye West's Yeezy Boosts and an improved face-scan process . Meanwhile, game fans are eagerly anticipating the seventh man for the cover of the latest "NBA 2K" franchise, who is still unannounced.

"NBA 2K17" will let its players wear the Adidas Yeezy Boosts, because nobody would want to wear them on the real court, which may harm its potential resale value. It is also, sort of, granting Kanye West's mission of making his shoes accessible and affordable to everybody. The news was announced by 2K insider Ronnie Singh, a.k.a. Ronnie2K, during season finale of NBA 2KTV, Hyperbeast reported.

2K Sports, the game developer, has started including off-court kicks and apparels, or streetwear,  to be used during the game. This gives gamers the ability to personalize their in-game players.

Additionally, Forbes added that Singh also mentioned a that a new face-scan application will be available to the game for its users. This feature started way back in "NBA 2K15" and gave excitement to its fans.  However, the app failed to accurately render one's face, as well as provide the proper color.  It always gave a shade lighter than the real color. This may all change when GameFace 2.0 arrives.

The upcoming game will have seven players on its cover. Six have been announced, namely Paul George of the Indiana Pacers, Kyrie Irving of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Jimmy Butler of the Chicago Bulls, Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma Thunder, Karl-Anthony Towns of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Andre Drummond of the Detroit Pistons. However, there is still one last player to be revealed, but there still no word on his identity, as previously reported.

"NBA 2K17" will drop on Sept. 20, while those who pre-ordered will have it much earlier, by Sept. 16..  The game will be available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. The Standard Edition is priced at US$59.99, while the Legend Edition, featuring Kobe Bryant on its cover and including freebies, is for US$79.99. A third one, called Legend Edition Gold, will provide additional bonuses and prices at US$99.99.
