NBA trade rumors 2016: Will Kevin Love be dealt soon?

The Cleveland Cavaliers look like they are pushing all the buttons in an effort to win a National Basketball Association (NBA) title these days. That all started with the dismissal of David Blatt and now, there seems to be hint that All-Star forward Kevin Love could be next to go.

Everything started with a mix-up during a team meeting when there were reportedly some Cavs players who though that Love had already been traded.

That bit came a bit of a surprise, considering Love's name was never mentioned as someone who would be moved even when Blatt was still around. So is there any sense in seeing Love being dealt before the NBA trade deadline which is on Feb. 18?

Love continues to struggle and that piece from CBS Sports indicates that a lot has to do with his failure to co-exist with Kyrie Irving.

Irving has just returned from injury and obviously feeling his way back to the game; but if the Cavs were forced into a corner, the obvious answer is that Love would be the one to go and Irving to stay.

Love had his issues last year as he failed to immediately adapt to the Cavs' system. He was hit hard and many felt that he would not re-sign this year. Surprisingly, he stuck around and LeBron James had something to do with it.

While things may have been ironed out between the two, Love started out with some noise but has recently been quiet in the Cavs' games. Is he struggling again?

The firing of Blatt signals one thing — the pressure is on and that includes players. Of the ones in the mix, Love is unsurprisingly drawing a lot of heat once more for not living up to his All-Star caliber performance.

Under Lue, it remains to be seen if Love can improve and make an impact. If not, everyone knows what could likely be coming next.

But the question is which team could the Cavs possibly deal with to get a player of equal or better quality than Love?

One team that comes into mind is Sacramento, as reported by Morning News USA. The Kings have been going back and forth on whether to trade DeMarcus Cousins or not. A straight swap could make sense and the Kings are bound to bite.

There are a lot of options, but it does seem a bit strange that the Cavs would move Love after signing him up this season.
