Feb. 8 is looking a lot closer to the world of NBA, as the looming trade deadline hangs over the heads of all the 30 teams this season. With little to no definite news about the trade season, fans are just contenting themselves on rumors. The question is, who are the names being whispered the most?

Apparently, Marc Gasol might say goodbye to the Memphies Grizzlies after playing center for the team for almost a decade. Although it isn't sure, trading Gasol would be a tough yet right decision for the Grizzlies.

According to Bleacher Report, "Someone will reload the Grizzlies' coffers with intriguing youngsters and draft picks for the big man's services, and weakening the roster also helps Memphis remain near the bottom of the standings and earn a better pick in the (likely) star-studded 2018 NBA draft once Mike Conley returns."

Rumors concerning DeMarcus Cousins are also bubbling, as the New Orleans Pelicans seem to be having a hard time making a decision whether to trade the Power Forward/Center player or let him stay on the team. Cousins' team up with Anthony Davis on the court is nothing but wonderful, but then again, the Pelicans traded quite a few assets just to have him on the team.

Of course, with the Pelicans now sitting at eighth place in the Western Conference, their hesitance to make a final decision is understandable, but according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Pelicans may more or less keep Cousins.

Meanwhile, Nikola Mirotic is presently being courted by a couple of teams such as Detroit Pistons and Utah Jazz. Recent reports also suggest that the Portland Trail Blazers are also thinking of winning Mirotic's favor, as the power forward's career highs in points per game since his return look really promising, and the mentioned teams could certainly use a big asset.

George Hill is also whispered to be looking for another team to sign up to, as his short commitment with the Sacramento Kings has apparently earned him nothing but frustration. He has voiced out his willingness for trade, as he said, "One thing I've learned is that you have to keep your bags packed. You never know. If it happens, it happens."
