Harrison Barnes of the Golden State Warriors may be traded off to the Phoenix Suns. According to Hoops Hype, the rumor began when Warriors star Eric Bledsoe posted on Twitter hinting that he would push for a trade between the two teams, specifically mentioning "Future Suns Harrison Barnes." The tweet was later deleted.

According to Fan Sided, it may be possible that the tweet was intentionally deleted to avoid any controversy, particularly given that both Bledsoe and Barnes are key players for the Golden State Warriors and it would be a big deal for a player to promote trading away one of his teammates.

However, it is further explained that Bledsoe is the star player of the Warriors and he reportedly has a right to speak his mind in regards to what would be best for his teammates and for the Warriors in general. It is important to note that Bledsoe's statements do not officially confirm that there indeed plans of trading Barnes to the Suns.

The report does state that if the trade does happen then Barnes would be a great fit for the Suns. He is notable for being young, at just 24 years old, and already standing 6'8" tall. The player is also capable of finding means of supporting the key shooters in his team, particularly Stephen Curry, his teammate in the Warriors.

Despite this, the report also states that Barnes is not performing well in regards to rebounds and assists. He is still raetd as one of the most efficient players in the NBA and can demand a $20 million salary.

Hoops Hype points out that there is a possibility of a trade, but because Barnes is a restricted free agent, the Warriors can match the price that the Suns offer Barnes as a means of keeping him with them. It is stated that the Warriors would only let him go if a team offers Barnes a chance to be a featured player.
