Right now, the Golden State Warriors have had a winning run at 36-9. As such, few have thought the team would be looking at trades since the current line-up is doing wonders. However, recent reports have been circulating about superstar Anthony Davis possibly joining the team.

Many fans will find it weird to see Davis in a Warriors uniform while the rest of his Pelicans team stays unchanged. However, given the rumors, there is a slight possibility of this being a future sight on the court. The original rumors mentioned that Davis would be the Warrior's target in the future. Back then, this meant big tradeoffs for the Warriors; hence, few believed the trade would even push through.

Now, however, there has been some speculation about how the Warriors will be able to acquire the New Orleans Pelicans superstar. Possibly the most likely option right now is doing the same thing with how the Los Angeles Clippers traded Chris Paul to the Houston Rockets, as per Golden State of Mind. However, that option still entails a lot.

On the other hand, Davis previously hinted at his team that the Pelicans need to win big in the next years. While the team will obviously want him to stay, Davis may possibly want out. In the latter case, the Warriors could move in and trade Klay Thompson to the Pelicans. That way, they can even bring back Draymond Green.

That is a big if, however. Davis needs to first want out of the team, and right now, that does not seem likely. Neither is it likely for Thompson to even want to be traded in the first place. Besides, Thompson undeniably still contributes a lot to the Warriors.

At any rate, anything can happen. Since there have been no official announcements, fans should stay tuned for future developments.
