It will be an interesting Thanksgiving episode for the team especially for Ellie (Emily Wickersham) in tonight's brand-new "NCIS."
The special agent will not only need to investigate the weekly case which is quite personal for her, but her personal life will also be turned upside down courtesy of her three brothers coming to town.
George (Ryan Doom), John (Jesse Bradford) and Robert (Jesse Johnson) arrive to spend time with their sister for the holiday but since Ellie will be preoccupied with work, the boys will be quizzing her teammates instead. Apparently, she has been breaking Gibbs' (Mark Harmon) rule 12, at least that what her brothers think as they ask everyone who she is currently dating. The reveal may be coming in the episode titled "Enemy Combatant" as well with the actress hinting about knowing about it in a recent interview with TV Line.
However, before fans find out who it is, Wickersham shares that the installment is full of funny moments and it seems like newbies Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) and Reeves (Duane Henry) will be receiving some CIA kind of interrogation from her on-screen brother.
"They've definitely got the funny down! I watched bits and pieces, but I didn't want to butt in too much. Their stuff with Torres and Reeves, I cannot wait to see," she said.
While her brothers are carrying on with their own mission, Bishop will have her hands full with a task of her own. This week, she is sent to investigate on and gather evidence for a Navy chaplain's murder case in Gitmo. However, along the way, she starts to find out about things tied to her previous work at the NSA which could prompt her to dig more into what really is happening.
"I always love the episodes where we get to learn more about Bishop's family, and have more character things come out," Wickersham pondered. "That's always the most fun to play. And this one especially, I loved how there's a major mix of a lot of fun and then some super-serious stuff. And there are also some really sweet things."
Catch "NCIS" season 14 tonight to find out who Bishop is mixing business with pleasure with as well as how her solo investigation pans out at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
