Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) will ask the help of the Los Angeles team to apprehend an escaped criminal in the upcoming episode of "NCIS: Los Angeles."

In "Blame It on Rio," Cartermatt reports that the NCIS Special Agent will require the aid of the squad to search the city for a prisoner. The fugitive managed to flee from his police escort on a flight from Singapore to Los Angeles. DiNozzo and the gang must comb the entire City of Angels to catch the escapee before he can victimize someone again.

Last episode, the entire team was dispatched to track down a bomb intentionally left to explode in a crowded location in the city. Callen (Chris O'Donnell) and Sam (LL Cool J) were having breakfast after a night's work when a random cellphone was dropped on their table. When they answered a call, the weirdo on the other end challenged them to save a square full of people before a bomb explodes.

The caller was Chad (Taylor Nichols), brother of Tyler Brunson (Stephen Wozniak), a criminal apprehended by Sam in the past. He took delight in ordering the pair to ditch their phones and ear wigs before going into the hunt. Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Kensi (Daniela Ruah) were dispatched to locate the bike messenger who dropped off the phone, but he was already dead when they found him.

They had no choice but to trail Sam and Callen. Nell (Renée Felice Smith) and Granger (Miguel Ferrer) were also needed out in the field to track Brunson's bomb. They managed to narrow the search down enough so the four could stop the explosive from reaching the Los Angeles Convention Center.

While they were successful in saving the day and putting Brunson behind bars, the team was bothered by the fact that there was a mole in the NCIS that fed the criminal with inside information about them.

"NCIS: Los Angeles" airs Mondays at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
