After suffering from a near death experience, becoming comatose, and now having to deal with therapy, it hasn't been an easy ride for Kensi (Daniela Ruah) since the beginning of the season.

In the previous episode — entitled "Parallel Resistors" — which tackled a case involving a graduate student who was electrocuted during a game night which also lead to a larger conspiracy, some progress was seen when Kensi was shown undergoing her physical therapy sessions, reported Aussie Network News.

While she was having difficulty with her sessions, she was challenged by one of the other patients which inspired her to push herself further. She said that she will use Deeks' (Eric Christian Olsen) engagement ring as motivation to get better.

The episode reportedly enjoyed a viewership of over 12 million viewers as opposed to AMC's "The Walking Dead," which was the first in a long time for the procedural to beat out the zombie apocalypse drama series.

The last time "NCIS: Los Angeles" beat the hit zombie AMC show was back in March 2014, reported Yibada. "The Walking Dead" episode — entitled "Service" — drew in some 11 million viewers.

Meanwhile, the next episode for "NCIS: Los Angeles" — entitled "Glasnost" — will see the appearance of Callen's (Chris O' Donnell) dad. "Callen interrogates his father after he is found in an NCIS patient's hospital room during a radiation poisoning case. Meanwhile, the team discusses their Thanksgiving plans," the synopsis read.

Episode 10 — entitled "Sirens — will air on Sunday, Nov. 27, and promises some developments in the search for the mole in the NCIS team. "A new lead in the ongoing mole investigation is uncovered after two men disguised as sheriff's deputies are killed in front of Callen's home by an unknown female assailant. Meanwhile, Nell (Renee Felice Smith) visits a prison to interview an inmate who is withholding information on the department's leak," the synopsis indicated.

The ninth episode of "NCIS: Los Angeles" — entitled "Glasnost" — will air on Sunday, Nov. 20, at 8:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
