The NCIS team in Los Angeles will find a new clue about the mole within the organization when "NCIS: Los Angeles" season 8 returns on Sunday.

The synopsis of the episode titled "Sirens" revealed that two men will fall dead at Agent Callen's (Chris O'Donnel) home after the attack of a female assailant. But the attack will bring the team closer to finding out the identity of the mole that has been compromising the team.

In an interview with TV Guide, O'Donnell revealed that the mole investigation will be played out in several episodes within the season. "It's a multi-episode situation. I just read two of them, and it's really well-done. The script for the second one may be one of the best scripts we've had. It's really clever the way they did it, and it's not fully resolved yet, but we are starting to get a peek at who the mole may actually be," the actor revealed.

O'Donnell also teased that there will be more twists that will unfold before the team finds out the identity of the mole.

On the other hand, Nell Jones (Renée Felice Smith) will talk to an inmate who possibly knows about the leak in the department.

Also, Marty Deek's (Eric Christian Olsen) mother, Roberta (Pamela Reed), will drop by to take cake of Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) while she is recuperating from her plane crash injuries. Roberta will also reportedly attend to her needs and prepare her meals.

But Roberta will not be the only mother who will be present to take care of Kensi since her own mom, Julia (Laura Harring), will drop by to care for her. However, both women seem to be in competition for being the best mom in front of the injured special agent.

The next episode of "NCIS: Los Angeles" season 8 will air on Sunday, Nov. 27, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
