In the next episode of "'NCIS: Los Angeles," the team led by agents G. Callen (Chris O'Donnell) and Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) investigate the murder of an investment banker who has ties to Russia.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "Mountebank" was released recently and showed Callen and Hanna investigating a suspicious accident wherein an unknown vehicle rammed into a car and killed its occupant who was a banker and person of interest. They later find out that the Russian mob is connected to the case and decide to ask for help from their past informant Arkady Kolchek (Vyto Ruginis). "You guys are in big trouble," Kolchek tells Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) who both look concerned.

Deeks decides to go undercover and hang out at the Russian mob's bar to see what he can find. He gets into an arm-wrestling match with a mobster and wins the match. It remains to be seen if he is able to get some information from the bar's patrons. In the meantime, Callen and Hanna are shown with their guns in hand in search of the perpetrators. Fans will have to tune in to find out if the agents will be able to get the mobsters without getting hurt.

In the last episode, Callen and Hanna thwarted an assassination attempt on weapons executive Mr. Bradford (Chris McGarry) by his co-partner's wife Sasha Livingston (Rebecca Wisocky). Apparently, she did not want Bradford getting into other lines of businesses which were costing them money. Livingston confessed to the crime which prompted Hanna to arrest her and her husband, who claimed that he had nothing to do with it.

"NCIS: Los Angeles" season 9 episode 5 will hit the airwaves on Sunday, Oct. 29 at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
