This week's episode of "NCIS" saw the team gathering at Ducky's (David McCallum) house to celebrate Thanksgiving as Bishop (Emily Wickersham) dealt with her husband's infidelity, and the team rushed to prevent another tragedy from happening.

In the episode, Bishop went home to Oklahoma for the holiday after Jake (Jamie Bamber) admitted that he had an affair. The team has been discussing Jake and Bishop's situation and Palmer (Brian Dietzen) said that Gibbs (Mark Harmon) has already talked to Jake about it. Apparently, their boss wasn't very happy with Jake at the moment.
Gibbs went to Oklahoma to show Bishop that he was there for her during this difficult time, and he gently reminded her that if she needed help, all she had to do was ask.

"You've done enough running, Bishop," said Gibbs.

"You are telling me to talk about my feelings?" she said.

"Rule 28: You need help, ask," he said.

Bishop is also seen taking out her anger on her phone as she smashes it with an axe as Jake has been repeatedly calling her. But it looks like she didn't want anyone's advice as she told everyone at the dinner table that this is her marriage and that everyone needs to back off.

But Bishop's mother urged her to face her problems as she told her, "Whatever problems you two are having, you know you have to address it. It's so much better to nip it in the bud than let it drag on."

In the next episode of "NCIS," it looks like Bishop will heed her mother's advice as she goes home to deal with her marital problems.

In the episode titled "Spinning Wheel" which will air on Tuesday, Dec. 15, Bishop and Jake discuss the future of their marriage. With the holidays approaching, it's inevitable that the couple will finally talk things over, but will they give their marriage another try, or will they decide to part ways? Though she tries hard not to show it, Bishop is extremely hurt by Jake's betrayal, and it looks like Gibbs, who has been getting along with Jake up until he had the affair, will be there for her no matter what she chooses to do.

"NCIS" airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on CBS.
