Leroy Gibbs (Mark Harmon) will continue to deal with the aftermath of the shooting incident that wounded him in the previous season of "NCIS." An upcoming episode in season 13 shows the squad supervisor collapse in the squad room.

In the upcoming episode titled "Saviors," Gibbs' health will be compromised once again as a result of the near-fatal shot he received during an operation in Iraq. Because of the latest incident, Gibbs has no other choice but to stay in the hospital once again while his team continues with their tasks.

The episode also features the return of Dr. Cyril Taft (Jon Cryer). He was also the one who attended to Gibbs when he was fighting for his life in the premiere episode of "NCIS" season 13. This means that Taft will once again take care of the NCIS head until he can go back to his old self.

Aside from Gibbs's health scare, the episode will also feature the return of Tony DiNozzo's (Michael Weatherly) former girlfriend Jeanne Benoit (Scottie Thompson), who will seek his help to find her husband who was kidnapped by a group of insurgents in Sudan.

In a recent interview with Fox News, series showrunner Gary Glasberg revealed that the next "NCIS" episode will be a big one. "It's part of a Doctors Without Borders organization. And Jeanne, who is a doctor, is connected to them... This is the continuing of the evolution of Tony DiNozzo. If you go back and you look at significant loves that have gotten away in his lifetime, Jeanne was one of them," Glasberg stated.

However, the series showrunner also revealed that more complication will be seen in the episode, since the casualties will be shipped back to the US as facilitated by Ducky (David McCallum) and Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette) while DiNozzo, Timothy McGee (Sean Murray), and Stan Burley (guest star Joel Gretsch) deal with the kidnappers back Sudan.

"NCIS" season 13 episode 8 airs on Tuesday, Nov. 10, on CBS.
