With over 57 millions viewers worldwide, "NCIS" fans are expecting more from the new season but also wants the show to hear their demands—bring back Ziva David.

Cote de Pablo's return in "NCIS" season 12 is unconfirmed and there is no official word about it. However, fans of Cote de Pablo are demanding from the show that they continue a Ziva story in the new season. Lead actor Mark Harmon and showrunner Gary Glasberg reacted to the demand saying that they are open for a reconnection between Tony and Ziva. But still, Glasberg didn't specify when Cote will make the special appearance, reports IBT.

From an interview with TVLine, Glasberg said the doors aren't closed. He said, "A lot of people have approached me about the idea of not shutting the door entirely on [their staying in touch], and I'm not opposed to it. But it has to be done in a way where it feels organic to the storytelling and we're not just throwing in lines about Ziva here and there." So, there might just be a possibility.

Fans of Ziva David are rallying on Twitter with the hashtag #WeMissYouCote. Cote only appeared in one episode in season 11, making fans yearn for his presence in the series more. One tweet said "Bring back our Ziva."

Meanwhile, there is more certain news about a new and old cast member joining the show. Reports point to a second wife or legally, a third wife for Gibbs. Michael Weatherly (Tony DiNozzo) recently signed a 2-year contract with "NCIS," so he will definitely be back for season 12. Well, at least half of the Tiva tandem is still afloat.
