It looks like fans won't be able to get some clue on Agent Gibbs' fate until "NCIS" season 13 officially kicks in. Good thing that clues are peppered on the web, making it easier to decipher what the future holds for the dearly loved character.

Mark Harmon won't reveal his character's fate in the series. Neither do the executive producers of the show, which, turns out, planned all along to sow this much curiosity from fans and not quench it until they wait for the long-running procedural series to return.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Gary Glasberg emphasized that regardless of what happens to Gibbs, the team will be more united and will "be there for each other" as they go through the e "long-term" and "psychological" effects of what happened.

Recently, Harmon signed up for "NCIS" season 13, implanting his signature on a renewed contract, thus locking in another year-long commitment to the series. This alone convinces fans that the fan-favorite agent is not going anywhere.

For those who have given up on discovering ahead what awaits Agent Gibbs in the new season, there is an exciting, new way to get busy with something else but still remain committed to the show and this involve good old binge-watching.

While re-watching all seasons of "NCIS" probably won't provide a single clue on whether the gunshots through the leg and chest of the finest police detective did so much damage such as death, it is still good to know that Netflix has seasons 1 to 11 ready for streaming.

As Carter Matt suggested, this will be the best time to relive the series' preliminary years full of thrilling storylines and unbridled action. CBS All Access also had the components for an unadulterated "NCIS" binging experience.

"NCIS" season 13 will premiere September 22.
