'NCIS' season 13 spoilers: 2-hour crossover episode with 'NCIS: New Orleans'; MgGee's upcoming Valentine's Day date

CBS Official

"NCIS" will return tonight, Tuesday, with a brand new episode to start the second half of season 13. Fans already know that the next episode titled "Sister City (Part 1)" will feature a crossover with the New Orleans team.

The episode will give focus to Abby (Pauley Perrette) and her brother, Luca (Tyler Ritter), whose name got mixed up in the murder of plane passengers.

The first part of the episode will investigate the death of the passengers coming from New Orleans and headed to Washington, D.C. They appear to have been poisoned and evidence somehow points to Abby's brother.

The D.C. team will then work with the New Orleans team to dig deeper into the case, now that Luca has gone missing. Luca may or may not be the suspect, but fans will surely find out in the second part of the episode.

"NCIS" already posted the first official look of tonight's episode and it starts with Abby introducing her little brother to Tony (Michael Weatherly), who then says he's under arrest.

The clip also reveals that Luca has been involved with a Russian spy/assassin, and Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and Pride (Scott Bakula) have to work together to solve this big case.

The crossover special will run for two hours, so it's going to be an exciting comeback for "NCIS" fans.

Meanwhile, the following episode, "Déjà Vu," which will air on Jan. 19, will feature the murder of a seaman who was supposed to testify in court, the synopsis from CBS stated. The team will also discover that the international human-trafficking ring is back.

On a lighter note, McGee (Sean Murray) will be spending the night somewhere else since a storm cuts down the city's power supply. Where McGee will be ending up is a big question and he would surely miss one night of being with girlfriend Delilah (Margo Harshman).

Fast forward to next month in the series is the highlighted first Valentine's Day date of the brainy couple. TV Line previously teased that this February, McGee will be having a difficult time thinking about what to give his girlfriend on Valentine's Day, considering it would be their first since living together.

The "NCIS" and "NCIS: New Orleans" crossover will air tonight, Jan. 5, at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
