Details about the premiere episode of "NCIS" season 14 have been revealed by one of its newest cast members.

Former "That '70s Show" star Wilmer Valderrama dropped the official title of the first episode of the upcoming season of the long-running police procedural drama. According to the actor, the installment will be called "Rogue."

This means that Valderrama's character, described as a field agent who recently returned from a deep-cover mission. He is described as a law enforcer who "has gone from stable to loose cannon."

Executive producer Gary Glasberg expressed his excitement about the participation of Valderrama in the series.

"Wilmer Valderrama will be able to flex his dramatic, physical and comedic talents in this classic NCIS role," Glasberg said. "Fans are going to see him like they've never seen him before. This is going to be fun. We're thrilled he's coming aboard."

Valderrama will also be joined by "Blue Bloods" alum Jennifer Esposito, who will portray the role of NCIS Special Agent Alexandra Quinn. According to the character description, Alex is a veteran agent who chose to quit her field job and start working as a Law Enforcement Training Center instructor. But Gibbs (Mark Harmon) will encourage her to join his team because of her impeccable talent as a federal agent.

Duane Henry, who portrayed the role of MI6 Officer Clayton Reeves in the final two episodes of season 13, was also promoted to series regular for the upcoming season.

The three new cast members are expected to fill in the void left by Michael Weatherly who left at the end of the previous season. Weatherly's character, Tony DiNozzo, opted to live a safer life outside the NCIS team after he found out that he and former agent Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) had a daughter.

"NCIS" season 14 premieres on Tuesday, Sept. 20, on CBS.
