Following their album "We Young," NCT's younger subgroup NCT Dream will release a new song through SM Entertainment's SM Station. In time for the holiday season, NCT Dream will be releasing a digital track.

As revealed by the official SMTown Global Twitter account, NCT Dream will be dropping a Christmas song on Friday, Dec. 15, at 6 p.m. KST/ 4 a.m. EST. The theme of this release appears to involve the word "Joy," which is very fitting for the Christmas season.

Before the song is released to the public, teaser photos called "Dream Kits" as well as the teaser for the music video will drop in the days leading up to the arrival of the actual music video and song.

Following the announcement, NCT Dream released individual concept photos of the group's members along with some teaser clips for the upcoming song. First up was NCT Dream leader Mark, followed by the group's youngest member Jisung. In both videos, they are being interviewed about Christmas, but they have some difficulty trying to explain their thoughts. Mark could only say, "Christmas is kind of... when I think about it... it's the same for..."

As for Jisung, he only manages to say "December 25" before bursting into laughter.

At the same time, the official NCT Dream Instagram account dropped some more concept photos of the members. Haechan is seen holding a bowl of food and about to spray whipped cream on it. Renjun is seated on the floor, holding an artist's palette and a brush. Chenle is standing on a coffee table, picking out a record from the shelves of vinyl records behind him.

Jeno is seen wearing an apron, supposedly trimming some plants as he is surrounded by various potted greenery. Mark is seated on the couch, surrounded by cameras and instant photos scattered on the floor. Jisung, meanwhile, is with a donkey and a sheep while holding a bunny.

Renjun and Chenle's video teasers have been released to the public, along with more individual photo teasers on their Instagram account. The newest batch of photos feature close-ups of the members in a more festive setting.

Prior to NCT Dream, Mark had taken part in two previous SM Station releases. One was a collaboration with EXO member Xiumin for the single "Young and Free." The other one was a collaboration with singer Parc Jae Jung titled "Lemonade Love."
