The upcoming "Need for Speed" reboot will apparently be getting a closed beta.

Interested players may visit the official website of the "Need for Speed" reboot and reportedly see the page for the closed beta there.

Players can already sign up for the closed beta, but they do need to act quick as the registration will reportedly end on Sept. 25, according to Polygon.

Interestingly enough, it looks as though the closed beta for the "Need for Speed" reboot will only be available for both the PlayStation 4 (PS4) and the Xbox One. As of now at least, the closed beta appears to be unavailable for personal computers (PCs), although that could still change, or there might be a separate beta to be made available for the platform altogether.

It's also believed that the closed beta will be available in different regions. For now, the regions where the closed beta will be available include Canada, Europe, Japan, and the United States. It's unclear if the closed beta will be available in those regions or if more areas will be added prior to its launch.

There is no official launch date yet for the closed beta, although it is expected to take place sometime after Sept. 25 and before the "Need for Speed" reboot itself is launched in November.

Details about the actual game itself are not plentiful at the moment, although the title's developer, Ghost Games has announced some of the features fans can look forward to.

The game is expected to offer an open-world racing experience to fans, Gamespot reported.

On top of that, the game's developer has also suggested that the "Need for Speed" reboot will also offer a lot in the way of customization and also provide players with an in-game storyline that should keep them hooked.
