The beginning of the year has always been huge for Netflix as it is the time when they roll out new releases for that specific month and also give a preview of what is to come for the entire year. At the rate that Netflix is going right now, the online streaming network can do no wrong. And to prove that, here's what's being offered this January alone. 

One of the most anticipated releases is "Friends: The Complete Series" on DVD, made available on Jan. 1. As for the movie department, there's so much to watch like "Cast Away," "Mean Girls," "Shall We Dance," "The French Connection," "Election" and many more. 

Last January 2, "Footloose," "Dirty Dancing," "Four Weddings and a Funeral," "Notting Hill," "Mystic River" and tons more were released. 

After these mass releases, Netflix started to take it down a notch, releasing movies one-by-one.

On Jan. 3, "Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit" came out, while "Brick Mansions" was made available on Jan. 7. The following day, "Frank" was released. 

On Jan. 16, "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy" will come out, and "Chef" will be out on Jan. 28.

In the TV Department, there are premieres and new seasons of the shows "Dallas," "Psych," "White Collar," "Z Nation," "Being Human," "Wolfblood," "The Adventures of Puss in Boots," "Beauty & The Beast" and "The Fall."

Meanwhile, for the rest of the year, there are several Netflix Originals to watch out for. In February, "Breaking Bad" spinoff "Better Call Saul" season 1 will debut. "House of Cards" will return for its third season with Frank Underwood as the President of the U.S. Come April, Marvel's "Daredevil" will hit the small screen. By July, "Orange is the New Black" will make its return with season 3. 

With such a powerful lineup of DVD, TV and new movie releases, Netflix subscribers can just sit back, relax and enjoy convenient viewing pleasure via the Internet.
