The third-person role-playing game (RPG) "Neverwinter Nights" was originally released back in 2002 as developed by BioWare. With the Enhanced Edition coming out soon, fans are eager to see the remastered graphics and gameplay. Fortunately, fans do not have to wait long as it will be coming in less than two weeks' time.

A closed beta is on the way as beta keys were handed out last month giving payers a bit of an early access. Those who want an even earlier access have had the chance to do so by preordering the game. This allowed them to play development builds of the game as the developer has continually updated the BioWare classic.

Those who preorder now will also be able to access an exclusive feature called the "headstart" program when the game gets launched. Publisher Beamdog also mentions that they will keep adding more to the game via the Steam Workshop feature. Players can even create their own story modules from there.

As for it being an "Enhanced Edition," fans can expect exactly what it says: enhanced graphics and gameplay. Given its outdated technology, players can easily expect a huge improvement in the game's overall visuals. According to Eurogamer, the user interface (UI) can even reach up to 4K. If fans have played or at least seen "Baldur's Gate" 1 and 2, it is in the same way Beamdog has improved the game.

Those who are up to reliving the nostalgia, they can get the original, which is not enhanced, "Neverwinter Nights," on GOG for around $10, which includes both expansions. This would even help players who would also buy the enhanced edition to appreciate the improved graphics even more.

"Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition" will be out on Mar. 27, 2018 with a price tag of $20. There is a $40 Deluxe Edition as well, which gives more paid modules.
