Movie buffs were given a treat at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show when Marvel Studios released a featurette of "Avengers: Age of Ultron."  On Jan. 12, they will once again catch a glimpse of the superheroes in action as the company will roll out another trailer for the upcoming blockbuster movie.

According to Marvel, "A brand new trailer for Marvel's 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' is on its way ... tune in to the 2015 College Football Playoff National Championship on January 12 on ESPN starting at 8:30 p.m. ET to see the new trailer before 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' hits theaters May 1, 2015!"

It is still unknown what the new trailer will present, but in the clip shown at the CES during Samsung's "Night with Marvel," fans witnessed several action-packed scenes, including a slow motion scene centering on Quicksilver phasing past miniature Ultron drones, as well as Iron Man bulldozing past Ultron's minions. In another scene, a building owned by Samsung starts to collapse. That's not by accident, as Samsung is, evidently, a sponsor of the movie. During the tech event, the South Korean company's technological paraphernalia were put on display alongside the "Avengers" clip.

In terms of technological advancements onscreen, there, of course, is Ultron. The featurette, as described by IGN, displayed extra footages of the concept art that was used for the villain while it was still in its imperfect form. It allowed viewers to get a glimpse of the threat that would eventually rise against the superhero team and how it would evolve throughout the course of the film.

While the new trailer is expected to be shown worldwide on Monday, "Avengers: Age of Ultron" will not hit theaters until May 1, which is still quite a long wait for Marvel fans. Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and Robert Downey Jr. will return as Captain America, Thor and Iron Man, respectively, along with Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, and Coby Smulders.
