Noted game names Bioware and Electronic Arts have released the very first story-based DLC pack for "Dragon Age: Inquisition." Dubbed as "The Jaws of Hakkon," this new chapter for the "Dragon Age" title deals with a backstory about the last Inquisitor.

As part of the new pack, there will be a new area in Thedas that gamers can explore. Called the Frostback Basin, it features environments like forests and mountains similar to the Hinterlands. However, there is new content in these parts for adventurers to explore, including numerous ancient ruins, icy castles, foggy swamps, with some of the camps for the Avvar, the fierce hunters native to the area, up in the trees.

No other details have been laid out yet, but according to their marketing blurb on the official DLC webpage, "Jaws of Hakkon" will have players engaged enough: "Enter an overgrown wilderness filled with Avvar, fiercely independent hunters who settled in the southern mountains of Thedas. Explore their culture to uncover what happened to the last Inquisitor and the dragon he pursued. Find an ancient Tevinter fortress that hides a dangerous secret."

However, the new "Jaws of Hakkon" DLC pack is only initially available for the Xbox One and Windows PC. This is part of the deal between Microsoft and Bioware's owner, Electronic Arts. According to executive producer Mark Darrah, it will be released for the Playstation 4, although no specific date has yet been announced because of an agreement made with concerned parties. The same exclusivity content also forbade Darrah from divulging if the DLC title will be available for older consoles such as Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

The new "Jaws of Hakkon" DLC for "Dragon Age: Inquisition" is available for the Xbox One and Windows PC for $15, and is a 1.5 GB download.
