The New England Patriots and the New York Jets are set to clash on Sunday at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This game is packed with Playoff implications and both teams will be going all out to get the win. The action will get underway from 1 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the CBS network or online through live stream via the link below.

There is a lot on the line today between these two AFC East rivals; the Patriots will be trying to gain the victory to lock up home field advantage throughout the Playoffs. If they manage to do so they will also be able to put a huge dent in the Jets' postseason hopes.

The Jets meanwhile will be trying to gain a fifth straight win today for the first time since 2010, and with it putting one foot in the Playoffs. The Jets are currently tied on 9-5 with the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Kansas City Chief in the AFC, but someone will be missing out on the two Wild Card spots on offer, making the final two games of the season must wins if the Jets want to guarantee themselves one of those places.

If all three of those teams win out the season then the Jets would be home for the postseason.

Jets linebacker Calvin Pace has said, "It's a big game because it's the next game. You want to be playing significant games in December. We've done a good job of putting ourselves in position to do that. Now, it's just about capitalizing."

The 12-2 New England Patriots have already secured their seventh straight division title, but their seed placing for the Playoffs is still up in the air, meaning they still have something very important to play for.

New England need a win either this week, or next week on the road at the Miami Dolphins to secure the No. 1 seed for the second straight year.

Earlier this week on Saturday night, the NFC East division was all but concluded, with the Washington Redskins defeating the Philadelphia Eagles to confirm themselves as division champions.

The Redskins clinched the division title, and with it a postseason spot, with a comfortable 38-24 win. Their appearance in the Playoffs this season will be their first since the 2012 season, and comes as a surprise as not many had predicted the Redskins would take the NFC East at the start of the season.

The result means the 8-7 Redskins will play a home Playoff game against the No. 5 seeded team in the NFC. At the moment that would mean a match up against the Seattle Seahawks, which would be a massive challenge as they have made huge strides in the second half of the season and at the moment look like one of the most dangerous teams in the league.

If the results in the coming few weeks shake things up more though, then the Redskins could get a game against the 9-5 Minnesota Vikings, which is another daunting prospect for Washington. However, at the moment the Redskins may just want to enjoy the fact that they're back in the postseason and whoever it turns out they face, what will be will be.

Kirk Cousins has been one of the core reasons the Redskins have managed to surprise people this season, and he has played above everyone's expectations. On Saturday night he completed 31 of 46 throws for 365 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions.

At the start of the season, the Redskins suffered poor form through their opening six games. During that period, Kirk Cousins threw eight interceptions, where as in the nine games since he threw just three.

They will need the new improved Kirk Cousins if they are to make an impact in the Playoffs.
