Fans all know by now that "New Girl" season 5 will welcome a new girl in the form of actress Megan Fox. Viewers will have to temporarily say goodbye to the eccentric Jessica Day as she departs for jury duty, while the actress who portrays her, Zooey Deschanel, is on maternity leave.

The new trailer for season 5 of the FOX comedy series is packed with a whole lot of crazy antics and laugh-inducing scenes.

The video starts with Jess adamantly declaring that 2016 is their year, even though the rest of her pals don't seem to agree with her. The fifth season will apparently bring in another new girl, from the looks of the trailer, and is none other than Saturday Night Live alumnus Fred Armisen. The hilarious scene features Armisen dressed like Jess and speaking in a high-pitched voice.

Season 5 might also feature a wedding episode between Cece (Hannah Simone) and Schmidt (Max Greenfield) as the actress sports a hideous wedding gown in the trailer.

Fox's character is also revealed and the three boys are clearly in awe of her attractiveness, so much so that it makes Nick (Jake Johnson) sweat. Her character, Reagan, will be a pharmaceutical sales rep who moves in with the guys in place of Jess.

The trailer also showed a lot of Cece as she can be seen snapping a selfie with Winston (Lamorne Morris) and making out with Schmidt while an uncomfortable Jake hugs him.

The upcoming season of "New Girl" is already shaping up to be a steamy one, as Fox and Johnson were seen filming a kissing scene, according to People. The two locked lips for the cameras, which begs the question: Could there be a new couple this season?

Fans were initially worried how Fox's character would fit in with the mix. However, it seems like it's been smooth sailing for the cast so far.

Greenfield said of the transition, "She's been really good in these episodes. We've all really gotten along. She kind of fit in seamlessly. She's done like four [episodes] so far, and it's been really nice. We have a really good time."
