New Google Chromebook Pixel vs. Samsung Chromebook 2 vs new Apple Macbook: Which laptop reigns supreme?

It appears like the battle of the latest laptop releases has intensified over the past week, after the new Apple MacBook and the latest Google Chromebook Pixel were announced within days of each other.

Both devices come with 12-inch displays and the latest USB-C, but their groundbreaking specs have glaring differences. They can certainly be pitted against each other, especially once Apple catches up with the sales next month, since the new Google Chromebook Pixel already rolled out in stores as soon as it was announced.

Also, can the two new laptops rate better compared to the Samsung Chromebook that came out late in 2014?

The brand-new MacBookApple

Apple's new Macbook went for the minimalist design. It is the thinnest laptop computer that the Cupertino tech giant has so far created, with just 13.1 mm thickness and weight of only two pounds. It features only a single Type C USB port to complete the sleek look. Because of its handsome appearance, users can display it anywhere as it is far from looking like a bulky gadget.

The new MacBook has 8 GB of RAM along with 256 GB of internal storage, and it can perform well for users who need basic computer functions.

Meanwhile, Google decided to go against the curved design of the new Macbook. The Chromebook Pixel features distinct edges and corners. It looks more industrial, and could be easily distinguished as a high-powered technological device because of its rectangular appearance.

Google is trying to market the new Chromium Pixel for developers and gamers who needs more function in the laptop. The company designed it with 8 GB of RAM, but users should make sure that they have strong Internet connectivity since it only possesses 32 GB of flash storage.

On the other hand, the Samsung Chromebook 2 can also be a force to reckon with. While it has nothing more than a conventional laptop design, it offers features that users need at a very affordable price.

The Samsung Chromebook has a minimal 2 GB of RAM, and is perfect for those who want a functional laptop without having to shell out a lot of cash.
